American's seem to save a special place in their hearts for complaining about Detroit. Detroit deserves a second look on their own merits, regardless of the Toyota's travails. If Hyundai can make a come back (can there be a worse car than an '80's era Sonata?), there is hope.

For the past several years there has been a groundswell of folks that want to buy American but want to feel they're purchase is just as good as a Toyota. Now, many of those who were on the tipping point will start coming over to American Metal.
